Sorry but NOT interested in the current GT's.
Way more keen on F6 input which is a truer OZ car legend than what else is on offer.
MY biggest query is how to turn my missus as to
WHY WE NEED A SECOND FGF6...?
Just trying to lay thew ground work peeps!

Would have been amazing if they put the Black Concept car into production, wheels, brakes and all.

You're not wrong! The Prodrive wheels can be purchased but I couldn't see an offset that suited me. The front bar would have been great to define a new model (a la R-Spec!) My car still looks soft at the front compared to my previous BA GT-P but it packs a much bigger punch!

I can't imagine the wheels would be cheap. It would have made the perfect R-Spec! Still looking forward to seeing the final GT.

^^^^ I've been thinking about it. The way you did it was great, getting it done on another bonnet. Where did you source the vents from?

Hey guys, back from Holidays. By now you'd know about the FPV offers available. Pretty awesome hey?

Anyway just a heads up. If you want something in particular go see your dealer. I have already experienced a customer wanting certain colour/stripes/transmission and it took me way longer than what I thought it would to secure them a car. Why you may be asking?

1. Dealers will now be holding onto their FPV floor stock as it is hot stock
2. Dealers only have a certain amount of FPV stock to build
3. Certain stock goes into build at certain times throughout the year

This is another heads up. My reason in the first place in creating this thread.

Enjoy!

Just out of interest, are the current offers the reason you started this thread?

Partly, more to make buyers aware this is the last year for FPV and if your dream has been to own a new FPV this year is it.

Sorry but imo barra240t is clearly just a new car salesman.
Local dealers are trading "demos" as per usual.

Extremely harsh. Barra240t has been helpful on many topics, and as far as i know not given out where he actually works.

We all know Barra is a salesman which is why his information is extremely helpful. He also has time for forum members looking for cars as well as having some insider knowledge on the Ford products rather than just internet hearsay. Seeing as Barra has been around for 2yrs longer than you I would say he is a little more than a salesman on the forum.

Didn't mean a slap down but every new model has more kw / nm so why should we snatch at these current cars ?
I already own a FGF6 08 no. 103.
Is there an increase in rated power for the mk2/3 F6's along with the latter box ?

Hi Barra240t .. I've just signed up for one of the FPV GT specials today. What are my chances of actually getting one in Kinetic with Silver stripes? Are there a few of them around?

We are still sorting out the colour at the moment.

Cheers Mike

Nice work Mike. As long as your dealer hasn't had the vehicle locked in plant (which is unlikely) your Kinetic/Silver will be all good

This isn't a new model. This is the last year for FPV.

If you are happy with your current FPV that's all that matters.
