Have to agree, family member's new FGII G6ET parked next to my FG G6ET and I'll take the FGII thank you...

Each to their own I think. It's not always about justifying the old against the new.

Not a fan of the FG2s, better in person than pictures but still not liking the generic Ford front bar. The big winner for me is the XT, that looks great for a base model.
Im also disappointed Ford are be dropping the bright colours. I wanted a Bionic FG and thought my Nitro ute would be like that until I got it home and saw the metallic in the sun. Were not many Nitro FGs getting around to look at back then so mine was the first one I actually saw. Rapid and Blood Orange were also great colours and so was Toxic to a certain extent. Dash was good to.

Just noticed when down loading a brochure from Fords website, a new colour called "Petroleum" will be available from september. Cant quite tell, but its either a new black (replacement for the 15 year old Silhouette?) or a very dark charcoal. New colour joins "Mars Red", replacing Sunburst.

I see all the colours for XR, and G-Series on the mobile site? Then again, XT has no colour choice according to the mobile site...

No it is just the website makers getting it all wrong (again). You would think that a company as large as Ford would not put up with the number of stuffups that have been made on the Fprd/FPV websites over the years.

Go to the "build your Ford" bit, lots of grees and blues etc.
