Growing up my dream Ford was an XB coupe. My first car was an XA coupe so dream 1 fulfilled.

Next I was doing year 11 work experience at my local Ford dealer when the EF was just about to be released. When I saw the EF gli sittign in the wash bay out the back on my last Friday afternoon that I knew I had to have one. Wanted an XR8 for years, finally got myself a V8 Gli so dream 2 achieved.

Now my dream it would be a '93 Mustang Cobra. Or any current model Mustang with the 5.0L.

While its not really a Ford ,its powered by Ford...

De-Tomaso Mangusta ( not Pantera ,though the European ones are nice too)

if not, Ford GT40 Mk2 will do nicely

Seeing an XW GS Fairmont brand new in the showroom again.

67 mustang, xw gt, ac cobra, or xb coupe. Any ford that doesn't depreciate like a tonne of bricks is worthwhile.

My dream ford would be an Xc Gxl Fairmont. I have tried to buy 3 now and have been shafted on all 3 deals.

Starting to think they are cursed!

Ok then, if we are in fantasy land
FG GT and XC Coupe both colour matched, white exterior and cream leather interior and completely monster customed by Chip Foose.

No need to apologise for owning any of the "coke bottle' style american coupes

All you need now is a Firebird and a Challanger/Cuda to make a set

Theres just to many.

As per avatar my fav at the moment is....

Everything about that car, the engine, the spec, the colour combo is awesome...just focused.

Like everyone else I guess I drool over GT40's, AC/Ford Cobra's but perhaps most of all a Shelby Daytona Coupe..OMG.

Id also like to buy a base spec XA Falcon and transplant a 390/427 etc with a 4 speed. Paint the steel rims the same colour as the body and add some chrome hub caps..really stock US style muscle in a Falcon body. Oh and it has to have a toploader and venetians

My ultimate garage at the moment would be a FG F6 as a daily, Boss302 LS for a track toy and the above Big Block Falcon for the family cruiser...Ill get there.

That or I still cant get the idea of getting a black BA2 XR8 and transplanting the BOSS302 in it..do the seats the same, colour scheme the same..like a four door version

Why?

I am told they get "around" 75MPG?

In any case fuel cost in a new vehicle expesnse is now f/all in the scheme of things.

Depreciation is the killer

Mind you the said F250/350 sold in the past are very very strong in resale

If that demand does not set a alarm off its FoA head, i dont know what they actually do up there?

Ditto for the F150....please!

Nice bike on your avatar too!
