Toyota australias annual ad agency spend would dwarf the GDP of a small island nation. They get quality for their dollar, with reasonably snappy ads and even subtle humour!

The cost of producing vs airing is miniscule.

at least they've have a go at creative ads over the years, unlike Ford or even Holden especially these days.

Hyundai are really after customers.
The blue praying mantis on Ford ads makes me cringe, I hit the mute button.
There are too many cars on the market. Button Plan didn't work.
As well as receiving the surveys you mentioned (the Ford versions), I got a free loan car so I didn't need to hang around the dealership to try their tea/coffee or biscuits, so I could go to work. I could even return the car the following day as I wouldn't make it back in time to pick up my car after work.

In case you're wondering, the loan car was a brand new Escape Titanium Diesel.

Better than nothing I suppose!

The Kuga is good, it's the missus' car. Very comfortable ride and good power from the Diesel motor. Chewed through more tyres than I would've liked thanks to a few punctures here and there, as they're quite pricey. Not many options to shop around with these tyre specs unfortunately.
