Thanks Kev... I grew up in Outback Australia and have a bit of native in me so Shelby's tolerance for the heat is kinda bred into him

Thanks for the kind words.

Shelby was born on December 20th, 2005 at 6.55 pm. Weighed 6 lb 4 and was 50 cm. He is the spitting image of his Dad and Grandfather at the same age.

Thats a classic! What are the chances! Hey you should have seen the behind in front of me!!! Hang on, i'll show you what i had to look at! Sucked to be me!

Hey i was the funny guy who kept dropping skids on the way back into the parking area! Had a lot of unhappy marshalls yelling at me as we came off the track! The dude in front of me was driving like a soft ИИИИ! I kept trying to push him so we could have a good flog around the track on the way to the exit point but he was just out for a sunday drive!

I swear i was the only 1 this round with a BA Mk1 XR6 (saw a few Mk 1 XR8's) but then again i'm probably 1 of the few who dont work or havent ever worked at ford!

Which driver was in your ute? Chick any good?

... but then again i'm probably 1 of the few who dont work or havent ever worked at ford!
I didn't find it particularly funny. Dropping sets on a public racetrack in front of thousands of families, children etc and going beyond merely one or two... then the fact that Marshalls were yelling at you... did anything spark at that moment? No offence but it was NOT funny. Once would have been cheeky, beyond that was too much. And I'm not a cranky old fart, I'm 24. But I'm not here to be your boss, you control your own destiny!! It was a sensational day and I agree that the derriere in front of you would have made concentrating on keeping traction a little harder... so maybe just maybe you have an excuse!!! :

We had Matthew White in our ute, nice guy. Didn't know who the girl was, but I've never seen more goose bumps on anyone's legs in my life. Looked like a freshly plucked chicked's skin!!! She was mighty cold in that rain and wind. Was glad to be in the ute enjoying the view!!

Hmmm, see i thought that if there was any place to do such a thing it would be on a closed race track..........
And yes i know that wasn't the purpose of what we were out there doing but seriously - No kids on bikes, cars reversing out of driveways, speeding drivers, unroad worthy cars, people sms'ing while driving, speed limits, stop signs! We were in single file on a very straight wide strip of wet race track, and i had a big gap in front of me with no pedestrians around.

I dumped the clutch with 1 foot on the brake, never for longer than about 2 seconds! No smoke, no massive sideways action or big hoops or grabbing second gear! Just a few innocent measly burnouts. Dunno what you went to the races for but when i was growing up a huge part of the fun was the atmosphere and getting a laugh out of stuff like that. And as for the thousands of "families, children etc" if you're trying to say it was a bad example for kids (???) should parents discourage their teenagers from watching the VB V8 challenge? Or robbie bolger in the CAPA ute doing full on burnouts and donuts and other irresponsible acts???? Dude its the racing. Not something i'd do outside a primary school at knock off!! Enjoyed the day out and had a bit of fun. :

And whats the bit about me controlling my own destiny?
