And no, the difference isnt that bad, If you think all stock BA turbos ran flat 14's youve got rocks in your head. Go to the drags and have a look. Youll be lucky to see a STOCK FULL WEIGHT BA XR6t run under 14.5.
When they were new they were easily running flat 14s, 8-10 years later its no surprise they are a little slower....

The only Hilux V6 ive seen run 14s (14.9) had no tray and was loud as hell.

Funnily enough I cant find any V6 Hilux running down the 1/4 on youtube doing anything near 14s stock.

Not really, AU VCT had those figures 14 years ago.
I find it hard to believe a 'stock' 175kw/376nm auto will get 1.6+ tonne leaf sprung ute into the 14s.

XR8's and XRT's are low 14 second cars, unless its a manual and the driver has no idea how to get it of the line.

No V6 Hilux will touch them all things equal. Especially an auto.

The V6's are shitboxes after a few kms....

Go a Navara STX 550 V6 Diesel if you want power.

2010 or 11 ( I'm not sure) 4L hilux 2x4 5sp auto belongs to my mate and races at wsid every other month. Peels off a 14.6-14.7 consistently stock as a rock on light truck tyres. He tried semis but it made no difference.

No, your wrong. Ask all these others who dont go to the drags, but know everything. A toyota hilux can NEVER beat a falcon hero car. Just ask them, they will tell you.
I see them everytime I go to Willowbank. Ive also seen stock XR6t's running LOW 15's in the heat (32degrees). But these noobs will sit here telling us we are wrong. Internet land says so.

Had a little run to the speed limit (80), from some lights not long ago against a mates 2010, 4.0, manual, dual cab Hilux. I was in a POS 1.5l proton with 300,000+k's on it. He didn't worry the proton, the gearing is all wrong for outright accelleration.
