Default things no good:

cup holders in the way of gear shift
seats are too high
boot slams closed due to spoiler weight
difficult for aftermarket audio upgrading

still love it though..

The fact it looks so boring and feels heavy on the road (well it is a BA)

That my paint peels off if you look at it the wrong way (bloody shockwave!)

It squeaks, rattles, clunks, and leaks.

Perks of owning an e series I guess.

The lower control arm on my EL was damaged a few years back by a tow truck driver (long story) and was replaced. Since then, the bush inside it squeaks when it warms up (takes about 30 mins driving). Mechanic has pulled it apart, greased it etc and it works for about 2 weeks, then squeaks again. Recently I had some front suspension bushes replaced, now the front left one does it when cold. I give up. I think it must be variances in production of these replacement parts. It works fine, just squeaks.

the fuel bowser problem would that be your fuel tank breather thingy being clogged?

the spoiler too heavy for the boot cracked me up... as did "the sunvisors dont reach all the way to the end of the windscreen so you have to move your head towards the middle of the car"

classic!!

I've driven a number of BAs and have found that. When I'm wearing my steel cap boots, it's a real tight fit in the BA footwell, but in my EA it's not a problem at all.

A couple of things I also forgot about the EA. My handbrake is shocking (but not as bad as a BA one :P) and my CD player won't eject.

It's thankfully an MP3 CD so it's got a fair few songs on it. It's the most random playlist ever! It's not bad, but I've heard it enough

The fact that BA's are made for really short people. The steering wheel and the pedals are way to close together and you just cant adjust the wheel far enough towards you. Makes it really tough to heel and toe because in order to have the steering wheel in the right place your legs are seriously bent at the knees and it just doesn't work.

-Excess fuel consumption, as it needs a service and various parts replaced

-Electric window switches needing cleaning every 5 mins

-Carpark dents and driveway scratches

-The increasingly harsh ride, as I need suspension work done

-The way the power seems to vary significantly on a daily basis

-Its 4WD ride height, but that goes with suspension work

-Lack of a CD player, and a crackle in the left rear speaker at medium volume

-Broken variable intermittent wiper switch, the little turney knobey thing has come off

-Seatbelts that need replacing soon

-Window tinting starting to bubble

Like most others, apart from these, I love my car. I'm still glad getting back into this, even after driving my mothers SerIII Fairmont. Makes me want a nicer interior tho :P
