I don't understand why people get so offended that this guy has listed it? Its not inconceivable that someone (not me) might pay money for something like that. Why does it bother people so much?

Exactly. It is not the vendor who is a loser or stupid...far from it- he has got $500 and someone to remove it from his property rather than forking out to pay someone to remove it for him!

Maybe its just jealousy on cetain peoples part because this bloke has more nouce than some of us but having a closer look, there are a few usable bits as was mentioned by someone earlier and I don't suppose $500 goes all that far with monaro parts.

How much would a genuine GTHO in similar condition be worth?

thats not a GT. GTs had black tail light surrounds. Then again the paints prob come off the surrounds. Its got the vermillion red paint and 5 slotters and what appears to be a rear spoiler upright on the boot.
Does anyone know for sure if its a GT and if its getting restored?

Zero - it doesn't have any tags so it's just a lot of rust being held together with some mud.

Its Definately a Phase 3...
Also 5 slots were std on phase 3's and only phase 3's had rear spoilers.

Thats a damn shame to see a Hoey like that, but It's in better condition that the Monaro we are talking about.
I'd have that Hoey anyday sitting in my yard even in that condidtion.

Yes.. apparently it was in a Hay shed that caught fire, they put a chain though the 2 front windows and lifted it out with a backhoe..... :

I agree, Bread is evil. Especially the Multigrain. Have you ever had the seeds stuck in between your teeth? Can take hours to hook them out.

I love the irony.

He classifies a deteriorating shell as "muscle"
