Yep .... as above, thanks for the day and for those who turned up with pressies in all sates, those who organised the day which is always no mean feat, those who won in the show and shine ... always hard to judge of course ..... and also the Coupe Club of Australia who braved the threat of rain and put in a huge effort once again. (those things rust you know!)

So sorry didn't chat with everyone but was hiding from the wind. Sun burn is a bastard when you are rugged up you forget to slop and slap!

We at the Modified Ford Club of South Australia Incorporated, were happy to help out by providing the catering for the SA Chapter of AFF.

Thanks to Rob for getting us the gig :-)

We would love to do it again next year and we have a few ideas to throw into the pot as well

Good turn out and it was great to see some needy kids in SA will be well looked after this Christmas :-)

Well done AFF for hosting such a great National Event

I would be amiss to not thank the other clubs that participated in the other states as well. Great to see clubs encouraging their members to participate as a joint effort into what is becoming a great and popular event. We will see what next year will bring

Always good to be out & about with fellow Ford owners & give presents to those who are needy.
It is hard to keep my own kids & wife pumped about cars but.
Not sure how to keep the young ones enthused...
We need to do more.
Can't really bring a cricket bat & ball or footy, understanderbly.

Adelaide turned on weather for a good cause

Cheers to Rob & his helpers plus Australian Ford forums for organizing this cruise for the less fortunate. Also keep up the good work "Salvation Army" in caring for those people.

Some photos from Fort Glanville

Cheers for the award, much appreciated but not needed

Thanks to all from NSW who turned up. Best turnout we have had in years! Think it was about 30 cars all up!

All up we managed to raise $120 for the Salvos and got my car and rickys ute full of toys.

They're being collected tonight so I will put a pic up with them all in the car for you all. I would also like to mention that absolutely everyone donated multiple toys. Xmas spirit is alive and well in NSW

Thanks to Tony for helping me out with the central coast organisation side of things and setting the meet point so well. Thanks also to Mr Brooksy for rallying some of the Newcastle crew for the trip down.

It was a shame about the weather turning so quickly, anyone would have thought the cruise was happening south of the border... :P

Hope theres a few more pics to come, there were plenty of guys with cameras so there should be!

I hope you all enjoyed the cruise route too, pity about the destinations weather (and the VW club stealing our spot!).

Congratulations to all who won a prize and a plaque for their awesomely presented cars and also thanks to the judges for their efforts in picking the winners.

Dave

Hey Fox,
I followed you up Terrigal Drive in my Evo.
Seeing a clean F6 like yours makes me wish I bought one.
Sadly my pathetic little garage isn't deep enough to store one.

Bit annoyed I couldn't make it out for the whole trip, two of my best mates had there 21st on Saturday night. Wouldn't have been a smart move for me to be behind the wheel that early.

Agree, never too many pics. I was happy to take Runner Up best interior. No shame in coming second to a nice new Rspec.

The Rspec interior is, no better word for it, awesome.

Yours had a pretty wicked exhaust note to it auIILTD! You certainly had a big day in the car with plenty of k's racked up. Hats off to you for making the trip up :-)

There were heaps of great cars there and it was good to meet most of you! it was my first cruise (Marks been a few without me in the glittery beast). When we left home yesterday the rspec had 1230 k's on the clock. Added an extra 280+ k's on the cruise, but it was well worth it. My only thoughts looking back on the day are I wish I had found more time to look at all the cars a bit better and get to know you all more, but with the weather turning bad we were eager to get home with the kids. Also to the 5 fords that followed me from Gosford to Terrigal...I'm kinda glad that I had some idea where Terrigal beach was. I couldn't see any fords up ahead at all to follow. Sorry about going down the wrong section in the carpark though. I had no idea once we got there exactly where they were. I had to call up and ask.

Thanks to everyone for a great day. It was a worthy cause. I can't wait until next years one. Can we also include a Newcastle meet point for next year? I will help organise if needed.

It was a great day. We at the Ford Coupe Club are extremely honored to have received the Organizers Award. Again, a huge thanks to everyone who organized and ran the day. Thanks for having us along, it's great to be involved with the greater Ford community.

We'll be back for next years toy run for sure.

Now for some pics. Hope no-one minds the rather extreme coupe bias!!

Glad you had a good time!

If you're keen to organise a Newy meet point that would be appreciated for next year.

I promised warm fuzzies, and here they are. NSW this year managed to fill a Nissan X-Trail full of toys! Backseats folded down and Front seat filled, this is what you could see:

Don from the Salvation Army was most appreciative of our efforts and wished to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of us for our monetary donations as well as the toys. He also thanked us for remembering there were little girls out there, not just boys who love cars

Can now Officially announce the Winner of the Bathurst V8 Experience with V8 Race is STAGG from Victoria.

He was the 3rd in the draw as the first 2 drawn were ineligible as they did not participate in the Toy Cruise - (SA member had been drawn 1st and NSW Member 2nd).

Congratulations and hope you enjoy your day. We will perhaps see you there at the 12 hour Race at Bathurst which this coincides with.

Thank you to all the Members and their Families and Friends who participated in this Annual Charity Cruise and for donating so generously at a time when things are a little tough in Australia. Shows true Aussie Spirit!
