Whats that? It only goes for 2 days and was only told to take my work book, the rest gets sent to the court.

Hindsite is a wonderful thing....People saying you should have done this, that and something else with the P plates....All good and well after you get pinged....The only good about the suggestions coming out now, is you know what to do with them in the future...

Hi all.

Well last Monday I lost my license for 1 week, which is good.

Now I called the RMS that day and they said I can drive at 12:01am 1st of April, I don't know if she was telling the truth or not, my question is can I actually drive midnight tonight? I'm hanging to go for a cruise.

They were suspended, not cancelled or disqualified so I still have my physical license car.

I know it would be good to have them on the inside of the car, no one would steal them then.

Police think that P plates go on you're shopping list and can't accidentally run out.

Anyways all over now basically a year later.

You got it right the first time.

Too many P platers were hiding the plates behind tinted rear windows, and the tinting at the top of windscreens.

Or lying them down on the dash and rear window ledge and using the old "gee officer, it must've fallen off the window" excuse.

On my P's I was sick of running out of them due to them being stolen or lost. So I just went to the RTA and picked up about 30 of them. It's the way to go since they are free.
I still have some of them today. I haven't been on my P's for years.

If the P plate driver starts off cocky to a copper, the copper just pings them for failing to display them anyways, regardless of the excuse.....

So where they are displayed doesn't really matter.....one way or the other, the copper can ping you for failing to display them...

No, I won't agree or disagree with their methods either, just in case others think otherwise...
