The front can go to straight to hell. Not a fan of that.

To all the haters: Go actually look at the car in real life first. I was the same too, saw pics on the net and in magazines and though the front end was terrible.
I've seen a few in real life already getting around town and I must say they look a hell of a lot better in the flesh.
I reckon its the best looking one to date, has a real menacing stance along side any other road car.

I've seen them a few times the only decent looking WRX's were the first lot.
The front to me looks a ugly sucker.

Plus the motoring write ups have the BF 6speed 6 turbo, Mitsibishi Evo & V.W gti golf as better buys in the class.

They have improved the interior and the **** end is good but the front?

Subaru need some giudance here on how to make the car look tough enough for the ginzo mafia cruisers without making it look like two people designed it.

They get it right in the somewhat more conservative Liberty models now why can't they just do the same in the more sporting models

i have a lot of respect for the sheer power of the rex. So if these rex's go even better then there older brother ill be happy, plus it does look a lot more tougher then before.

they are as common as hyundai's up north here. personally i think they are the most over-rated performance vehicle on the market today. i just think their styling is too simple and boxy almost. they certainly dont look like a performance car.
not my cup of tea at all, over-priced and over-hyped is my opinion. but guys that like them more power to you.

Horrible looking things they are, tell me, how you could stand being tied up in those very hard ricer “racing” seats for more then ten minuets at a time is beyond me. When the Japanese actually make driving cars, and not try-hard racing cars, then I’ll contemplate buying one.

Define what a driving car is. By the way, the WRX STi is incase you didnt know essentially a road going version of the rally one and it'll belt a V8 around a track. :

see thats my point, 99.9% of the population would never take a car around a track so who cares if it could beat a V8 around a track, what people want is nice comfortable cars, which have the power for ad-hok curcumstances. I for one wouldnt want to be driving around in an uncomfortable-feels like a go-kart rice bucket day in day out, just to brag to my mates at the pub that its faster on a track.

99.9% of WRX drivers wouldn't know how to drive it around a track anyhow 4: Oh, but they pretend they can by driving like tools on the road ;)

I wonder if I fall into this 99.9%, would I have started driving like a tool as soon as I stepped out of my XR6 into the WRX or would it come on slowly like some sort of disease _

wake up :

I do agree Magpie. Let people choose what they want to drive without the stereotype casting that goes on. Each to thier own I reackon!!! Plenty of WRX's out there would embaress us even through a tight twisty section of country road, but at Bathurst.... BYE,BYE REXY!!!! :evilking:

If you said 99% of XR drivers are tools on the road, I wouldn't really mind either. There are ****ers in all kinds of sports cars, and you might personally see more XR ****ers on the roads than others.

I do about 60,000km a year, and in my experience - the cars I see driving most dangerously on the roads are WRX drivers. Many of them who wouldn't have the slighest driver training and most probably aren't even off their P plates.

If I came out and called YOU a bad driver, I'd understand you being upset. I didn't.

Get over it. :

It doesn't matter if it was directed at him, you still need to pull your head out of your ****.

As for the new face, I'm not a fan. IMO it looks worse on the base Imprezza. Personally I didn't have a problem with the first bug eye, but I reckon Magpies model is the best looker.
