yes must get around to getting a second set of keys cut both my ef and au only came with one set of keys and one key pad
until yesterday i flat out refused to get a spare for the au as everyone here in ballarat wants over 150 to get one cut but now i see the value in it

i had a scare the other day my little sister was in my car while i was cleaning it with the keys in it.the little bugger locked the car and i thought she was locked in untill i walked around the other side and the window was open

I used a branch of a gum tree to open the EF when I had it. Pull the top of the passenger door, push the stick down to the handle, and lever the branch backward.

It's dear to join and have a service call on the same day with racv.

If you know someone who is a total care member get them to call and say they were driving your car and locked the keys in it.

Total care members get basic care privellages in any car they drive. Cheaper than smashing a window!

Otherwise i'd be attempting to hook an inner door handle and pulll it open, otherwise get a coat hanger, bend a right angle on 1 end about .5 - 1cm long. Mix up some araldite of something that sets not straight away but fairly quickly. Test the hanger and bend to suit so you can get the right angle bend to sit flat on the locking button on the drivers side. Once you get the bends right, pull it out, put some glue on the end, and slip it back in and sit on the top of the lock button. You'll have a couple of mins, then hold it until it dries. Lift the locking button, then quickly get the glue off once the door is open so it doesnt set hard enough that you cant get it off.

Another handy tip that i've used lots of times but wont work on something with flush locking buttons is to use a long cable tie. Slip it over the button and pull back so it tightens around the button. Then lift, it wont slip and be tricky like packing tape or a coat hanger can.

Used to do a bit of work for the racv in torquay, mainly manning the base, but you learn some good tricks! there's pretty much nothing you cant get into with a coat hanger, araldite, packing tape, cable ties or a steel ruler :-)
