A black F6 Typhoon with the 1000hp Nizpro engine in it. Now that would be an awesome new-Mad Max car.

Why bother making a new one?:
1) Mel Gibson would probably say no.
2) No AUSTRALIAN Ford coupes produced.
3) What directors would be interested in an AUSSIE movie?????
My 2 cents worth...

Looks like Mad Max 4 (AKA Riot road) is back on the agenda:
http://2fwww.cinematical.com/2007/03...will-not-star/

I think yellow, blue, and red BF GTs would look great as the cop cars
For the new interceptor if they followed the Mad Max 1 / 2 theme? A GTS coupe would fit the bill, but the badge wont hehehehe

To keep it Australian, I would build a black LTD with heaps of work and of course superchargers, it will need a 6 speed gear box and have diff gearing for massive acceleration. The rims will be kept a modet 17" to keep the price down but will be wide enough to fill the guards and increase traction. It will sit low, give it a more agressive stance the front will sit a little lower.

Whats to say they cant use the same as original.... with a few enhancements?
Sort of like in "I Robot" when Will Smith breaks out the old-school motorcycle amongst all the hi-tech vehicles......

Why is everyone wanting the Holden GTO to replace the Ford GT as the pursuit special?

Yep. I think its the go. Flat black. Body kit. Loud as hell. Maybe a gas tank on the boot? Looks tacky but mean. I would have to say there is no other car for it.

Because it needs to be a two door and Ford haven't made a two door falcon since 1978. I don't think the badge has anything to do with it really.

Besides, if they decided to change the headlights on the bodykit used on a BA/BF, people would get upset because you wouldn't be able to tell what model it is.

Ford mightn't make a coupe anymore but they do still build a 2-door ;)

Go a matt black BA ute with a carby'd 460ci and blower hanging outta the bonnet.
Could carry all the guzzolene he needs in the back of that bad boy.

You cant look at a standard production car alone, at best it would be the base for something special, a bit like the inteceptor did not roll out the factory like that, it was modified.

Outside the square : Take an Enforcer ( Apt Car ), totally strip it, Paint it matt black, re attach the enforcer decals but in green,

Have equibs fully deck it out with carbon fibre interior to lessen the weight.

Get Stav at Stingray to install the latest in high tech gadets

Bolt it over to the Blue Oval Boys / FTG auto salvage to install a 6 speed auto.

Whip it over to Herrods for a whipple.

It would the be ACE in craigs work shop to fit some heavy duty race brakes to this puppy., before going up to redcliff dyno to fit a roll cage in case of emergancy.

its funny but then of to Fulcrum to make sure it sits nice N low.

Pole position have fitted the guage pods and engine bay bits and bobs.

It will need some agression with the Agressor bonnet , to match the body kit from AWC before the master gets to turn it blue, Chris at Blue Power does his magic.

Finaly yep the Doc will need to give it a polish, before it gets the photo shoot at ford performance mags then it's of to the MAX of the future.
