So how does it compare to the Omega man?
With Charlton Heston.

A favorite flick of mine.

I was able to get a look at this movie the other night and, wasn't really impressed. I guess I am getting too old and find this sort of thing rather boring. Sorry guys but I could have lived without it.

No s^&t, but if you want to look at the time I posted that, as of then, there was only a video camera release. Theres this little thing called time, things change as it goes along.

2007-12-16 XviD I Am Legend (2007) *CAM*
2007-12-21 XviD I Am Legend (2007) *DVDSCR*

Now if you can figure out what that means, you will see my post was from the 17th, 4 days before the good version came out that you can actually watch.

Just got back, I'll give it 6/10. Anti climax ending, not what I expected and not consistent with Wills (or the characters he plays) kick a55 movie's. Too serious and a bit too graphic so don't take your kids.

I watched it, enjoyed it mostly. However, I found the ending to be... strange. Very anticlimatic actually. Seemed strange to introduce two focal characters so late into the show.

That seems to be the way though lately with endings. Has anyone seen 'Theres no country for old men'? Man what a let down at the end. Then again I guess thats how real life really is, no hero to save us all but rather what happens happens. Solid silenced shotgun in that movie. I really liked the bad guy.

I'm going to see it this week. Any movie that has gore is good in my books.

Extra bonus if it has zombies

Bring it on!!!!

Saw it on Thursday and loved it, although there are a few too many movies coming out like this atm, think 28 days/weeks later and the like.

Still Will Smith can make a movie and yet again he has. Ending was anti-climatic, worst bit though were the bloody morons who talked all the way through it even after I told them to shut up. Silly buggers thought the emotional scenes (think when Will is saying "please say Hello") were funny. Morons.

I think the dog did a better acting job than Will Smith in this one. The dog should get the Academy Award. Boring is all I can say. My wife actually walked out on this one. That's how bad it was. Not our type of movie but each their own.

yea not a bad movie i think
i would give it 7/10 and if this movie was done by anyone else wouldnt have been half as good as it was. Will just does an awesome job for a movie that focus' 70% of the time on one person. although i wasnt really expecting it to be the type of movie it was and it took just a little too long to actually get into it, but still a good movie.
ill be buying it in dvd when it comes out.

Agreed with everything you have said here, i was kinda hoping he would get out of it. I kinda felt like the movie could have gotten more involved with the zombie side , and thought the part with sam was kinda sad but all in all a good movie

Why is it the Zombies always get the bad press hey?

This film could have been great if they spent more time with the zombies I say..

I agree with most comments here.

It ended so abruptly & the ending wasn't necessarily a good one. Bit disappointed to tell you the truth.

I thought it was 28 Days later with a bigger budget and worse background music. Still quite watchable, dont know if it will join the DVD collection. The ending made you feel quite shortchanged, while the ending of 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later was pretty much on-the-edge-of-your-seat kinda stuff.

Im a big 28 Days Later fan, and there were quite a few similiarities between the story lines.

Now that a few have watched it I am surprised I havent seen any comments about it OBVIOUSLY being sponsored by Ford....I mean all cars covered in Dust and crap except for the Mustang which was perfect in every way, and then in the near final scene, it was lovely that she had driven for over 24 hours to get to that place only to pull up in a perfectly detailed Ford Explorer I mean even the tyres were blacked...LOLLLLLLLLL

I noticed that too MYVYSS i pointed it out to the Mrs, who, as usual... was oblivious to how many times the blue oval was shown. I loved the whine of the Supercharger on that stang though, that was the best bit of the whole movie.

On the down side, the product placement and bullshit is a little over the top and stupid...

FORD obviously sponsored the movie along with Apple, apart from that grab your loved one and prepare to be taken on a very good ride.

8/10

Will Smith is so so good and appears cant actually make a bad movie.

Also will add dont just download this movie, its one I think that needs to be seen on the bigscreen

ENJOY!
Overall not a bad movie but it is formulaic , lacking in places and the ending tends to stop any thoughts of a sequal... I enjoyed it though generally
