Would love to take it but we'll be cutting it a little too close for my liking. Last thing i want is to get my car towed back from there. I was also getting a little scepticle on whether it'd get done. I couldn;t have gotten this far without the help of john tho, together it took us 3-4 days to get her back to this stage from an empty shell, so a big thanx goes out to John

I have an SVO lip spoiler to put on it, but recent dummying up of the spoiler has got me reconsidering whether i want it on or not. I think i'll end up putting it on tho, but might leave it off for a while. We'll see what happens

EL GT gear Knob ? That looks awesome steve! What are you doing with door moulds ? leaving them off or are they painted, and are you going to have the chrome strip around the bumpers and stuff.

WOW! Thats horn!

It might have been covered before, but why did you stick with the EA rear garnish and lights? Not that there is anything wrong with them, but ED stuff looks alot cleaner IMO.

Must be a great feeling to have it nearly done!

yeah its my old gear knob.

i seen it today, very nice indeed ;) i want to see it rolling under its own power now though :P

also after seeing it in the flesh i reckon the ea rear end suits it more than the eb/ed would. also steve is proud of the fact that it is an EA and not a wanabe EB/ED

I much prefer the garnish and lights of the EA ghia's rather than the EB-ED style. Same goes with the vented c-pillars. But that's me

The best feeling was once she came out of the spray booth. Up until that point i was stressing whether it'd turn out any good or whether it would be a complete disaster. We had a few scares that day, one of which i was running around for about 2 hours looking for a place that sells 2k hardener on a sunday :P

Nothing wrong with that! Dont know if I can agree on the lights/garnish, but the c pillars I do. Do a photoshop of the c pillar SVO style, black to match the tinted windows; that would look good too. A bit like how 180SX's paint there roofs black.

I was considering blacked out c-pillars, but thought it'd be best to spray them in silver first, then perhaps get another set and spray them black to see which looks best

I was origionally considering leaving the ford badge on the front EA style, but couldn't justify ruining the look of the bonnet for sentimental value :P

Feel free to come down, but most of the work that i'll be doing tomorrow is simply sitting down and soughting out the wiring.

Hey Steve, your car looks great. Well done !
Are you going to put decals on the bulge? I reckon some chrome/orange decals would look very nice.

Thats looking unreal.. Dash definately needs a bit of a clean though, whats going on with the passenger side dash spear? custom logo or NWOLB decal maybe?
I think you should do a proper unveiling with the car cover and everything, haha!!

Steve, you're doing everything tastefully - the last thing you need is our advice. Otherwise it'd be riding on stockies, custom Spotlight interior and rainbow neons under the sills.

It's a stunning car.

cant complain how that has turned out, i thought that the ea monty rear and ea c pillars wouldnt look good, but i think that the rear looks more aggressive with that extra line that the garnish and lights has up the top.
