Default More stereo help

I'm wanting to re install my stereo setup into my new car. Can anyone tell me what colour wire are what for the factory EF tape deck(only need power (+) earth (-) and the accesories switch one). Also does anyone know if I'll be able to fit Alpine Type R 6.5" splits in the doors WITH OUT pods. I dont wanna hack the door skins up.

i think the 6.5's will fit without a problem, nmot sure. the earth is black, power red and continuos power yellow

With the speakers in the door, its the depth thats gonna be the problem if any at all. As for the wiring, thanks for clearing it up. Wasn't sure whether ford had some obscure colour code or not.

I have an EF with 6.5" speakers in the front doors but for them to fit I had to put a 6mil spacers in-between the Speakers and the Door.

Also had to cut the extra bits of useless plastic which are on the std door trim grills just so they didnt put a hole in the speaker cones - again lol

The issues is you can buy 12mil spacers but not 6mil spacers - you have to get them cut them down.
