Hello,
I`m posting this on behald of a friend who has a problem with his 99 au fairlane mark-1. The tailshaft has been determined to be out true (causing vibrations) he had another tailshaft fitted, now this is where the question is.... The original tailshaft (yoke part)if roughly 3 inchs shorter than the replacment tailshaft, the new replacent shaft does not vibrate, so we are asking is the reason that the new one does not vibrate is beacuse the yoke(3 inch longer) is sitting further in the trasmission? (also what shaft (yoke)is the correct size? OK what i`m asking does anybody have the original specs for the 1999 ford fairlane AU mark 1 showing total tail shaft length and yoke length, Thanks, Please copy any answers to rgormley1968@yahoo.com Cheers, Richard |
