For me these big cars are more about the build than the finished product. Even if this one isnt the best looking.
I went for a look to see what the fuss is all about, but kept getting this screen so I gave up

Built a log picker last month and finally the car transporter this week after umming and ahhing for weeks about the 2nd version of the build.

I have run out of shelf space, so once i have built the Volvo Moxy that will be it i'm afraid.

Hopefully i will get keen and get back into my plastic custom trucks... i only have 32 car and truck kits sitting idly by in the closet ...

Watching Lego masters has inspired me lol but it may be a while before i rip them all apart and create something random like a walking treehouse with a sea monster eating trucks

Had this thing delivered a few days ago - was my most enjoyable build so far. Not that difficult, all the linkages are relatively basic. Bit fiddly, but not like the Charger - and nothing anywhere near as complex as the Land Rover - but a lot of fun to watch coming together. Definitely recommend, looks fantastic in person. It's gigantic though so you'll need somewhere to keep it!

I think you have one of the first ones (before they changed the stickers) therefore worth more than the ones on sale now.

5K ONO, I know what I've got.

Started the Z28 yesterday, finished just before. It's a ripper, much better looking in person than it shows. Can choose white, grey or red stripes, and drop-top or hardtop.

It might be 1:8 but its not in the same category as the GT3/Chiron/Sian/Daytona re build wise.

But yes i have thought about it, but F1 isnt too high on my interest/build list if that makes sense.

I like big scale cars
Construction.
Trucks

Im a simple person

It is i think the first set ive purchased on launch day so i paid RRP.
I think it'll be a battle to get it cheaper than RRP for a while. It may come up on Zavvi eventually but id say it'll take some time

Buying it at RRP via LEGO actually saves you a few hundred dollars off the eBay asking prices at the moment

You need to get out of cars and into earthmoving, they don't go fast enough or high enough to crash

Started building my Ferrari.
Sound petty.
But opening the box of the last 1:8 supercars was an event in itself, all the wheels laid out in the box, parts of the car printed on the box.
This one, nothing just 3 boxes full of parts printed boxes but alas not the same.
Cat still needs to get involved.

So LEGO Bricks Megastore (certified store I've purchased from on a few occasions) have a promotion where you get the Ferrari SP3 and the Ferrari 488 Corse for $749.98 (basically you pay retail for the SP3, and get the 488 for $90 in lieu of it's RRP of $299).

Super duper duper duper tempted myself, will see if I can hold out the rest of the day without clicking BUY NOW.

Dang, missed out by 10 minutes. I'd never heard of this megastore before, I
just get mine off the Lego one. So points all cashed in now on the SP3, and
the 90th anniversary Galaxy Explorer. Always wanted that one as a kid!

Do yourself a favour then.
Do not go to rebrickable
Set up account.
Add all the kits you have to your profile
Sit back and look at the money you've spent

Thank me later

And then realise you need to list your LEGO sets on your home contents insurance policy due to the value
