Default New F6 arrived today!

Took delivery of my new F6 this afternoon (Lightning Strike, Leather, FPV wheel). Had to go straight from the dealer to an appointment at Coomera and when I returned to the F6, Goldie's XR6T was parked along side trying to mate I think! Didn't see him or Anita, so left a note.

Have taken some pics but can't post as I don't know how to erase number plate (Ford Company trollers).

G'day Pedro,

You will love it I am sure of that. Manual or Auto? Either way once she has a few Ks under her belt and is run in you won't want to get out of the driver's seat.

Congrats Mate, and see you at a club event soon.

Ken

Thanks Ken

I drove both auto and manual demonstrators prior to ordering, and although I had the intention of buying a manual, the ZF auto was just too good a thing ... so that's what she's got.

Banked the deposit for Morgan Park yesterday, so see you there.
As she's so new (tyres etc.) I'll have to enter the "Grannies" segment.

Oh yeah ... nice one. OK tell Anita I'm sorry about the line of sight thing.

Just tried to upload edited picture from Picture Manager, but unsuccessful. Will have to do some more self-tutoring.

Hi Pedro, I was lucky enough to drive a BF F6 with the auto and WOW!

I had 2 V8 FPV people in the car tell me that it was just "OK" but it's such a different expirence...A good one.

Id hate to have to make a decision if I was buying a new FPV

I didnt even use the sequential shift...the box is great and dont even need it.

I only drove it for 5 mins but that was enough for me to fall in love :

I hate hearing all this chit chat on new cars. I ordered mine early February and am still waiting. It was meant to be in Brisbane 12th March. First excuse was FPV have run out of body kits, next excuse was they have run out of back wheels, delivery date now is meant to be 5/4. I cant wait to hear the next excuse. or maybe I am just too impatient, but I am a female and I am allowed to be as impatient as I want. I keep telling myself "good things come to those who wait" but I am tied of repeating myself, I am sounding like a cracked record. How long did it take everyone else to get there cars after ordering.

kerry they gave me the exact same excuse 1 year ago . but the body kits are made in low volume by an australian firm . i think they have had problems with suppliers trying to keep up with demand . dont push themor you may end up with a subcontractor painting your body kit .

I don't want to turn Pedros's post about his beautiful new Phoon into something else but I want to add something about the body kits.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of being involved in an accident in my Phoon at 950 ks on the clock (a unlicenced uninsured car changed lanes straight over ontop of me). It took two weeks for the replacement front bumper / splitter to arrive because they were in short supply and any being produced were for cars on order.

So Kerry they may not be speaking with forked tongue.

Kerrie, I orderd the F6 on 13 - 2 - 06 and took delivery 30 - 3 - 06, so that's 6+ weeks.

Pedro,
Awsome car, looks so classy. Thanks for the pics. and i finally got the GT. I ordered 2.2.06. picked up Friday night - 7.4. So am extremely happy now, but the F6 looks stunning. Cant wait until Morgan Park now.
By the way for those who havn't booked accommodation, we stayed at Jackie Howe on Friday night and rooms are filling up for 22nd, there is also a wedding on the same weekend. I have my room booked and a 6 pack in the fridge already.
