Question GT-P Cr&ppy boot Carpet

The carpet in the boot of my GT-P doesn't seem to fit "like a bought one".

Anyone else with a GT etc find the same thing?

I've seen a great many BAs that suffer from this, whether its a GT or an XT.

Do you really think that because it's a GT-P the boot carpet would be any better than a XT? Most BA-BF's are like this.

Too be honest, yeah! If I'm gonna buy the best factory "Falcon" money can buy at the moment, I'd like to think that more attention would go into the finishing of the car. Maybe I just expect too much.

I think you may have been expecting too much.
Do you realize how far these sort of thing can go?
Maybe better roof lining? Different plastics or coverings on doors & dash? Lining the wheel arches with felt for less tyre noise? Aluminium boot release button to match the start button?
It's never going to happen, maybe a better look at the demo before purchase wouldn't have left you dissapointed.

It's pretty crappy, it doesn't reach the sides properly, there is no finishing stitching & it generally just seems to be plonked in like you bought some fabric from Clark Rubber & cut it yourself!
