Default Whistle Sound

Hi Guys'

I have a TDCI LV Mk2 Auto, I have a whistle sound sort of like a turbo whistle but a lower tone. Press the throttle and I get this whistle and it speeds up as the throttle is pushed just like a Turbo.

I never had the issue until the Gearbox was serviced at 60,000km's, I had the gearbox service at 120,000km and it still makes the sound. I have no power loss but the power is more aggressive and pulls like a steam train.

Can anyone shed some light on this, I just don't want to loose a turbo or is there an underlying problem with the Gearbox?.. I have 130,000kms on it now.

Also has anyone had the clutch packs changed, if so at what cost?

Thanks
Noel

Hi, I think it's pretty normal for turbo diesel. Mine's been whistling since I bought it back in 2009. I actually like the sound, makes it different.
