Hey guys,
Now that I have to drive to uni nearly every day, I was wondering what are some modifications that I can do to improve my fuel economy. My car is pretty much stock (except for sound system), so what will help with fuel? |

being very light on the right foot improves fuel economy, so does gliding in neutral down hills.

use LPG it would last you 2 weeks straight and just use your petrol a bit during when you get closer to home

Bicycles were a genius invention. So is moving closer to campus.
Both save plenty on those parking permits you have to get. Getting your car scratched up or stolen also sucks. At my uni campus (Curtin) six cars were stolen everyday (apparently pretty standard australia wide). We only had 28000 students too.

Opposite to lead foot. Take the way with the least lights so your not stoping and starting that chews fuel!!

Extractors, Zorst and a high flow air filter if you do this and drive it like a elderly retired male or female you will have more economy cars are like people they like to breath!!!!

Yep, did K&N filter, headers and exhaust on my EB2 4.0lt auto and it now does approx 530km town and 730kms H'way per tank. 68lt using 91 octane. The mods added consistantly about 50kms per tank. A lot is also a well maintained car and a light foot.
