Default Corza's Ford Au Wagon.

Hi all I'm going to take you on a journey of my car's life.
It all started with a small loan of $1000 from my Uncle.
My best mate's dad was selling off his daily driver.
I only had my learners permit but I was in need of my first car.
$1000 bought me this:
1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg

My dad had these wheels on his BA.
He upgraded to the FG alloys. I was given these off of him.
These started my inspiration of doing up my car.
4.jpg5.jpg6.jpg

My birthday had come and gone already and I had my probationary license (P plates).
I got some money for my 18th, so I decided to spoil my self with custom plates - CORZAS
These really changed the look of the car and took it up a notch
9.jpg8.jpg11.jpg

I got new wheels. $90 they cost me without tires!
I was now rolling around on nice chrome 17" rims.
New L.E.D's on the front to try and show off the number plates a little more.
12.jpg13.jpg14.jpg

Tinting time, but not my windows!
Tinting the tail lights. Such a fun thing to do and look 10 times better now
First two pictures are day of spray. 3rd picture is current day how they have faded to my liking.
17.jpg18.jpgtinterrrr.jpg

MY TOOLS THAT HELP ME WITH EVERYTHING
Kincrome is the brand I trust and live by.
First picture is the tool's I have purchased.
Second picture is of my car and my girlfriend of 3 years.
I entered a kincrome competition (#KINCROMESHOWNSHINE) with this photo.
Guess what. I won! Third and Fourth picture is what i won
19.jpgwinner.jpg27.jpg28.jpg

Underground in the local car parking lot and a four wheel drive cut off a corner and forced me to go tight around the bend and I hit a pillar.
24.jpg

Extractors are on! me and a mate did it all with a "cat" welded to it.
With the Pacemaker extractors i now have 2.50" extractors to a "cat looking hollow box" Straight pipe 2.25" - High flow sports muffler - Straight 2.25" pipe out.
extractors.jpg

Tickford steering wheel! That was a scary task with the air bag. I AM PETRIFIED OF THEM.
Got it on though and looks great! I also painted my centre console dash black.

Meanwhile throughout my journey with this car I polish it.... religiously.
Here are a few of my most recent snaps of the car.
This will finish my journey, for now anyway.
Future plans are; better wheels (already on the way) and a cam-shaft upgrade.

The dinged quarter arch will fix up easy. Just sand it rough, smear some body filler on, sand & reshape it, prime it, then top coat that panel. At a glance you wouldn't know the difference.

Maybe consider some brushed alloy wheels, or even black. Black is an awesome offset colour to go against anything white.
Paint the rocker cover black with some high temp gloss paint if you ever pull it off.

You made a good choice buying a falcon too. So easy to work on & pretty cheap for parts.

Set up an account with Photobucket.com

Much better - you can put your photos on there and then post the links on forums.

With a build thread such as this, write everything in a text file (including the photo links). Then you can copy and paste the text in different forums.

For my 2006 BF Tornado, I did this and posted it on five different forums:
http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11429105
http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/to...-resurrection/
http://www.perthfalcons.com.au/forum...06-FPV-Tornado
http://www.fordaustraliaforums.com/f...ction&p=440299
http://www.******************/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=30259
(Don't know why that last one doesn't work)

Welcome to the forums Corey, good to see you on here! Great to read a bit about the history of your wagon too.

In regards to posting photos, here's a bit of a tip for you.
In photobucket, go to your 'Library', and mouse over one of the pictures you wish you post here, in the bottom LHS corner of the thumbnail of your picture, is an icon that looks like a list, if you scroll over that, a list of sharing options appear.
Click on 'share links'. This will bring up a box called 'Share the photo'. Inside this box is a smaller box called 'Photo links'. The bottom one, called 'IMG', is the one you use to post pictures on forum pages. Simply click on it, and it should copy. Then you come back to the post you're making here, and paste it. When you submit the post, the link will then appear as the picture.
