Default Sad days...

So i had to go to my local Ford service department today (Trinity Ford, Cairns), and as I walked past the new car showroom I noticed that they didn't have 1 Falcon in there!! I couldnt believe it! Anyone else noticed anything similar at there local dealer?

Just try and test drive a new flagship G6E turbo....you'd think the dealers would have a high margin hero car floodlit up on stands in the centre of the showroom wouldn't you?

There are probably more dealers in the country than monthly Falcon sales. Having one in the showroom would be dead stock.

Near me is a huge zone of dealers all owned by AHG. Nissan, Subaru, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Mazda and Hyundai all in a row, with Holden & CHrysler just around the corner. I used to like wandering through. Now it has become the most deadshit boring place on earth. Just acre after acre of the same horrible little boring shitboxes.

It's very depressing. Obviously dull little juice boxes are the mass-market pap of the 21st century, but does EVERYONE have to chase the same market? Even the "Ford" dealership is filled with Hyundais.
I buy my undies in packs of 7, and even they are more exciting than the average new car.

I guess you just have to accept that Australia's manufacturing industry is dead... I have, now it doesn't really bother me any more.

Those dull juice boxes are what sells, the dealers wont fill up the yards with falcons that don't sell.

So when the new Falcon comes out, they won't have any in the showrooms?? No wonder they don't sell any FGs..no one knows they exist. Disgusting from Ford Aus in my opinion. Such a large icon in this country and they can't even put any in the showrooms..
