Those who do want a falcon or commodore don't need an ad telling them about a falcon or commodore. Look how much Holden advertises their commo... How are their sales trending again?

Whinging about fords advertising is getting a bit like flogging a dead horse...

Might be a crazy, out there idea, but maybe, just maybe ford knows what they are doing? Pretty sure they have been doing this car selling stuff for a few years now.
Your spot on, but if no one wants falcons or commodores why did Ford spend all that money developing the lpg and 4 cyl models and then not bother to tell anyone

I read somewhere recently that is took Ford US about 3 years to convince people in the US about the smaller Ecoboost engine in the F series & that they except it to take 3 years here as well with the Falcon. Might explain why they are not hamming it on TV??

I personally would like to see more done by Ford to get people test driving the Ecoboost Falcon as a starting point. Maybe a competition that says every person that test drives an Ecoboost goes into a draw to a trip oversea or something like that?

With LPG, I think there really stuffed up with the long gap between models here..

The actual selling prices aren't, I agree.

What's ridiculous is the rrp.

It would be interesting to see what effect a limited run of xt's at say an advertised driveaway price of $29999 would have on sales numbers.

I know it gets brought up all the time, but Camry shows it works.

A sub30k price, plus cheap finance gets cars sold.

Id be quite happy with an xt, and if ford were able to link in with a finance company and offer similar deals then I'd be hard pressed to not sign up.

theres a reason why everything is the way it is...people still want to whinge and pretend they know how to fix it. maybe it is true...ford in usa did the research and found people take 3yrs to come around so why waste money just yet. Makes perfect sense to me...and i bet theres a whole lot more reasons to add for the way they do things here.
