my au ute indicators are playing up left hand works but when i put right hand on blows fuse straight way replaced flasher relay still doing it checked globes seem ok please help me!

some things i usually think of when something out of the ordinary happens with lights on these cars, has any one fitted a globe recently, check for correct type of globe, check for correct insertion of said globe/s
worth a double check? the other common one imo, is have you towed anything recently? the reason i ask is tow ball wiring/trailer wiring can sometimes cause problems a. trailer lead/plug bottomed out........... wiring damaged b. trailer plug old corroded/broken ..........causing a short c. had something in the boot large/heavy that`s crushed/damaged pulled on trailer wiring, also worth having a glance at the wiring under the carpet in the boot as well imo. worth checking these if you`ve done any of the above recently. |
