My girlfriends old 95 SB barina is finally getting replaced. The engine and transmission are on their last legs and the paint is horribly faded (like 90% of barina's).
Where in Melb are the best places to take it for some money? I know there used to be a place in Epping that would give you $250 for any car as long as you drove it there.

Most metal scrap yards will give you some cash. Put on gumtree

Chuck it on gumtree someone will buy it for $500+ if its running and registered.

i think you'll be lucky to find a wrecker to give you $300 for a barina..
if u can get it take it, & cancel the rego & get back the remainder of the rego.. for 3 months you'd get somewhere like 50 / 60 dollars.. |

put a big hrt sticker down the sides a holden sticker on the windscreen and a huge wing on it and it should pull 2k.

Depends what you want for it ......
Do you have the time to drive from wrecker to wrecker expecting good money ??? Do you have time to stuff around with adds,then waste time with people thatll really only pay a bit more than its scrap value ??? Cancel the rego, dont worry about the headache, advertise it on line for a few hundred,if it sells good luck, if it doesnt of to the scrappie Late model stuff,isnt worth more than a cracker or two |
