The same can be said about any 90s hatch though surely. I do worry about a cousin of mine who has a Festiva but I guess driving a ******* from 17-20s is just a part of life, can't come into your P's with a fancy car unless you have rich parents.

Just to clarify. My falcon attracts attention because of how it looks. Those of you calling it plain are either hinting I drive like a hoon, or haven't seen it. It is also the only white b series xr in town. Get one defect for ride height, better off moving to Texas.. I've.taken in all the advice, have decided to get nans Mazda 626 on the road again. No initial purchase price is really going to help

I would have daily driven the BF and got the Laser for a weekender.

Well going a 626 without having to buy it makes some sort of sense. Would maybe only putting SL springs in the BF made it more practical and a little easier to enjoy the better car?

Yes you can, its called a job, been working one since 15, its how I bought my three cars.

I had 2 jobs when I was 15. Afforded my first car when I was 17 back in 1998, a nice gold coloured 1984 Ford Telstar. Certainly not fancy.

Why can't you do both??? I worked through both High School and Uni, bought my Festiva new at 19 with cash 'caus the hand me down Datto 180B wasn't reliable then left Uni with no Hex debt because I paid the lot myself as I went... And on top if that I still had time to travel and enjoy myself when needed.

Boy can you make a ton of money stacking shelves at Woolies, Coles and the Reject Shop (often in the same week lol)... especially working the days / hours most don't want ;)
