Default Adding Criuse control

I have found on ebay 2 cruise control kits. Just wondering if any one has added cruise control to their car and how difficult it is to do.
And if I need to change the BEM to add the cruise control
I have a 2001 manual AU2 UTE.

Thanks

Default Re: Adding Criuse control

I added a cruise control similar to the one you are looking at to my au111 Forte. Pretty easy job as it is a retro fit and bolts straight in. The computer is already set up to handle it so it really just bolts in, plugs up the electrical, connect the new wiper/ indicator switches, and away you go. The hardest part for me was getting the airbags in the steering wheel removed to replace the switches. If I remember correctly, a No.25????? torx is required to remove the airbags????? Not exactly sure on that torx size??????
