I have to say the photos don't do the front end justice. With the front end squared off at the bottom it looks quite sleek in the flesh. It really grows on you. I'd say it's my favorite part of the car. The tail lights look great at night as well.
I saw an MC while shopping the otherday and at first I thought it was a focus. I agree, it does look nicer than the MA/MB models.
