There was a place, forget the name or where it was posted, that can correct the speedo, k's everything.

Im sure someone will know of it, and i presume there will be a couple of joints around.
As for a quick fix.. not sure.

Umm, try typing 'Speedo repairs' in Google and it will probably spit out at least 5 in Melb that can re-calibrate it for you.

I have the shiftkits speedo corrector. It's the Jaycar one already kitted and ready to wire in. Worked a treat for a few months then simply died - reminds me to email them to get another.

Well it is supposed to work without a problem. Just my luck I got one that fooked up. A lot of others have used them with no issues. It works by modifying the speedo signal from the transmission - you wire it in at the back of the instrument cluster. It's not too difficult. Once wired in you can adjust it until you get your speedo reading accurately. Using a Sat Nav for a reference is the easiest method these days.

I assembled the Jaycar kit about 12 months ago. It's still sitting on the pegboard in the shed, lol. One day....

The soldering is a bit fiddly but it's not a difficult task to put it together.

chiptorque also adjust it using their dyno... Speedo Check
We offer a comprehensive speedo check on our chassis dyno to assess and report on the accuracy of your speedo at varying speeds. Some aftermarket modifications, such as wheels, tyres or diff ratio change can affect the indicated speed on the vehicle's speedometer in relation to the actual road speed. This service includes a written report stating the indicated and actual speed, signed by our Technical Director.

Want to correct your speedo so that it reads accurately? Check out our Speedo Corrector or contact our sales team to discuss a speedo recalibration. http://www.chiptorque.com.au/products.html#sc
