Default Adding a link to a post

I would like to put a link in a post so that members can see a car I have found on carsales.I may be interested in it and would like to show other members for opinions and wether anyone knows the car. However I'm not sure how to put the link into my post. can someone advise me how to do this.

The simplest method is to cut & paste the link directly into your post.

If you like, you can use the 'Insert Hyperlink' button (the one showing a small blue circle - the earth I think, with the paper clip). You are then prompted to type in what you want shown eg Ford Fairlane and then you paste in the link.

all you do is get to the page/part you want to show us then left click you mouse then right click at that point go down the list till you see copy then come over to the post/ thread you want to put the link in then right click and click on paste

that should put the link in the thread
