Hopefully THIS one. Though I won't be paying near that for it
Russ - nice little Pug that one, and nearly the right price too (wait long enough, and the price will drop!)

Well, after fixing the brakes this morning (a HUGE thanks to Theo and Chris at Bluepower, and John from Herrods for tracking down some of the elusive 329mm discs - second hand, but they got me home), we left around 1pm, one fuel stop somewhere (Holbrook???) and a good (and legal) run got me home at 7.56pm! Mick probably got home 5 or 10 minutes before that because he ;lives closer to Victoria than I do.

As RG & GK have already posted up, I love this car! I was expecting a hard ride (it's waaaaayyy low), but it's very, very good; just an effortless cruiser - in fact km travelled + DTE probably meant I could have made it home without a stop on the way.

There will, of course, be a few mods for this one too; nothing drastic, just the leather interior out of the fairmont (which originally came from a series 2 XR anyway), my 18s, DVD head unit, and reverse camera and that's about it (famous last words, I suppose). Oh, and some new front RDA rotors as soon as they are released (currently only DBA stock them)! And BA pedals. And maybe angel eyes.

There will be a build thread!

Years - that's a bit optimisitc, LOL (based on my track record, at least). But yes, I plan to. With this one, I think I'll do a "Ron West" and get a 2nd front end for it, so I can chop and change as I please without actually having to buy a whole other car! I'm thinking Series 1 C2R grille, stock headlights and series 1 TS50 style lower bar (or Brumby bar again) will be the order of the day I reckon, just as a change from the XR front (or while the XR front is being fixed, whichever come first).

I'll second that-big thanks to Bluepower and Herrods

That was a good drive; and the red fella has pretty good range on the highway too

Looks like this one is a goer, they came down in price enough for me to be happy and are throwing in a 3 year/175k warranty. Dealer warranty (Preston Motors European) so it may even be worth something, unlike the usual warranty that dealers throw in that aren't worth a cent.

Now to find a roof mount bike rack for it
