Angry Bit of a problem..

Hey, my AU2 xr6 was making a weird noise, like the shock was damaged or something..
so i have a look and the drivers side shock top rubber thing had pushed through where it was meant to sit, so i put it back in there added some spacers so it was tighter and now it has done it again.. any ideas what this could be.. its pierced my overflow bottle too.. because the shock thing went higher then normal..
Any help would be much appreciated i can get a photo tomorrow during the day if its needed..
Thanks

Bit hard to know what your talking about without a picture. Sounds like the top shock mount is stuffed.

sounds like a part of that shocker packed it in allowing it to jab through the mount and beyond...a good idea is to take it to ford or your mechanic.

Sound like the washer at the bottom that holds the shock rubber is missing or damaged.
