Thumbs down Googles new sidebar
Anyone else hate this?

I spend probably 60% of my day on google, and after 10 mins I was searching for a solution..

Instead of using http://google.com.au use www.google.com.au/webhp?hl=all

It disables the stupid side bar...

It seems I am not the only one... Sidebar haters..

I reckon it will be great.... I havent used the features yet, but I do like the idea of being able to refine my search like this.

I just dont like how it makes the seach results look all cluttered. With the old one you can choose to show "more options" if you need / want them, why force me to see them?

So they have a side bar and a top bar.

I'm guessing they are working on a bottom bar and the other side bar.

I know everything when I have Google.

it lasted about 2 seconds before I went searching lol that link you posted is good but I just search in the address bar and it takes me to the normal google. I installed this script and it hides the sidebar and makes the page look old school again with just the normal google address http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/76065

Its most annoying because it cuts into the search results screen on the left where if it was on the right hand side of the page it wouldn't be so bad but that would ruin there advertising space and cant have that lol

how can I do a search now and only get results from Australia? They seem to have ditched that option from under the search box??

Googles simplicity and accuracy was why I started using it in the first place....call me old fashioned but I just just seeing that search box.

are we talking about i google ? if we are i quite like it , and the option to select a mood thing or background is pretty cool, i have an xy gt for my background(well a partial one anyway .
