Well done mate! ... Post a pic of it!. For a young car, (and I'm lucky i had guidence and didn't do half the things I wanted) you'll want to do classy things! that arent tacky like some young cars lol ...

I'd,
- Tint
- Exhaust
- Lower

Until i've seen the car though it's hard to knwo what else lol

- King Spring L's or SL's
- Nice wheels that suit the fairmont character (ie. not ugly chrome ricer wheels)
- 2.5" zorst
- Series 2 or 3 tail lights NOT altezza's
- clear side indicators
- tint
- ditch mudflaps and/or wing if it has either
- upgrade the stereo (if your into your music and/or if you do a lot of driving/cruising)

Besides the later model tail-lights, the above is the exact mods i did to my EL fairmont, i loved it. I sometimes wish i got another fairmont in all honesty!!

edit: forgot to mention, a cheaper and easier way of changing your interior lighting is to simply replace the wedge type bulbs found in the courtesy lights etc. with the Narva coloured ones which you can get from autobahn, autopro, repco etc.... (they do fade over time but, there cheap though so just replace them occasionally)

Heads up, AU's never had 6 speed manual, which sucks since vx commodores did. If getting an AU try series 2 or 3, series 1 small bloody brakes, and I think series 2 and 3 look alot better, also P platers can't drive v8's, you'd be lucky to get an exemption, i tried!

I thought the Fairmonts in series 1 had the clear indicators on the tail light which then became the series 2/3 tail lights, so this wouldn't really need doing?

Unless there's a difference between the S1 Fairmont tail lights and the tail lights used throughout all S2/3 models?

Anyway, Welcome
