I thought the sheep would not be touched because of statement 6 - the first lion that might eat the sheep does not want to be eaten himself, therefore no lion will eat the sheep

So ultimately sheep will be eradicated as a species on lion island without a carefully controlled breeding and sheep consumption plan, with the herd count never exceeding 1 without outside interference. What ratty place for lamb loving lions to exist.

However, if one lion is smarter than the rest, he will allow all the other lions to eat the sheep (themselves) and he remains on the island with ultimately 100 sheep and no competition.

untimatly there will be either of 2 scenarios:
1, the lions are logical and smart, yes but can not think 2 steps ahead, therefore the Sheep lion chain reaction occurs and there is utimatly 1 sheep left on the island on his lonesome 2, the lions are smart can think ahead, see the trap and everyone lives happly ever after. my 2.2c plus GST |

Mate, I have looked and looked and I don't believe it can be done (I presume the white is a King also? If it is a Queen then she can move diagonally right behind the King or the Pawn can move one space directly ahead and checkmate ). The King can only move one space and cannot move within one square of the other King. The Pawn can only move one space straight ahead unless taking another piece.
