Default Driver Door Acuator

Good evening all.

My driver side door lock acuator took the liberty of not working after my arm pushed the manual lock down accidentially. It now makes an ugly whirring noise before giving up. Is this something I can fix? or am i better off paying 20 bucks for another one?

Also, does anyone have any experience in their ABS light coming on, but then disappearing after you start the car again?

Cheers

You fix the actuator by getting another one; especially if you can get one for $20!

Take your rims off, and undo the calliper and pull the disc off, then clean up the ABS sensor ring (wire brush and brake clean should do it). If that doesn't work, replace the actual sensor in the upright assembly that is activated on the ring hub.

i think i paid $50 last time i replaced a door actuator, its just some silly plastic part and be warned, not every series is the same, i believe s2/3 were different from s1 as i remember we got one and it was series 2 and didnt fit and side by side they werent the same, so we bought a s1 and it fit perfect
