Default LSD in 99 XR6

Hey guys,
I'm in the process of purchasing an Oct 99 XR6.
Did these cars come with an LSD as standard?
I have read in different places that they did and in others that they did not...

There was the AU XR6HP - which was the lower spec version. This pretty much was a carry over of the EL XR6 drivetrain - same power, LSD, live axle with a few AU upgrades. Then there was the XR6 VCT. It had a little bit more power and IRS, but was heavier as a result of the IRS

Just because the AU had the same power doesnt mean that it was a 'carry over" AU's I6 had revised heads and more free reving pistons, which made for a much more refined and smoother motor with an increased redline.
