Default H&R Springs for WS Fiesta.

Finally, the H&R springs for the WS Fiesta are now available. Was told by my supplier that they will be arriving in 5-6 weeks on their next shipment. I'll be putting them on mine. Should look the goods. Can't wait. :hihi:

Lowering is the go as handling and the whole package is via both springs and suspension. Personally, I rekon the suspension on the fiesta is adequate just needs a little lowering to fill the arches for the looks and lower the centre of gravity :hihi:

Only problem now is, once the springs arrive, I'll need to find bigger wheels to make it look really sexy. Worst comes to worst if I can't find the perfect wheel, then I might go for the factory 17" wheel option from wheel king. *Sigh* and I've only just got my polo gti lowered with new bilstein shocks and H&R springs all round just today with new 17" going on it tomorrow :eclipsee_

I've reserved a set for myself or anyone who is interested. It'll be here in 5-6 weeks and lowers the car 35mm from stock height so all legal and insurable. He He He :hihi:

Just waiting for BMC to bring out an air filter for it. Looking at wheels at the moment and I must say, they're pretty hard to come by.

Well that was quick! When you say "available" is that "available" to order and then a few weeks for delivery or what? cheers

Nope I actually mean available for delivery right now as they are sitting on the stock shelf. They just arrived a day or two ago. Even I was surprised how quickly they arrived. So if you're interested, once payment received, they will be shipped out to you immediately :

Ooooohhh....that sounds painful. The driveways must be steep in your area then? We haven't had this problem as yet. Hopefully never though.

Waiting for Bilstein or H&R struts and shocks to be available so I can get everything done in one go cause don't see the point in installing springs and then installing shocks at a later date. The money I would save on the wasted extra install could be spent on a BMC CDA air intake system.

Have already sold a set of these springs to fit Zetec and looks hot and makes the standard 16" wheels bigger than prior to lowering. I've given up on sourcing the K&N panel filter as its unavailable in Australia and expensive to source from overseas so easier and better gains to be had with the BMC CDA :

Now just a matter of nutting out how the install for this air box should go :dr_Evil:

I must say, finding the right wheels is a nut cracker for this Fiesta.

Never told my wife that though otherwise I'd be in the crap for supposedly looking :togo: Have to track down customer first though as I didn't get a chance to take a photo on the day as I only saw the car briefly and didn't think to take a photo with my phone camera :

Yeah worse comes to worst if I can't find the right ones now, I'll wait til the tyres wear out before replacing the Fiesta with a new set of shoes and rubber. Importing especially from the UK are very expensive and just to add salt to the wound, anything imported into Australia worth over $1000 AUD will incur custom duty fees of $50 plus 15% import duty. Not to mention if any damage is found on the wheels when you receive them, that would mean even more pain and money as you'll have to pay through the roof to send them back or get them repaired here at $150 a pop.

:( i scrapped the front bar last night on a driveway doing a three point turn

you can only see it if you get on the ground and have a look underneath but still... i know its there :(

makes me think twice about lowering, however I can imagine how much better it would look with the lowered springs in!!

Sorry to hear about that mate. That's why I try to be very careful when I'm driving up and down driveways etc and avoid the really steep ones or go at an angle or approach very slowly. I do cringe at the possibilities every time though mind you.

*Sigh* Unfortunately not yet as it will take a while for Bilstein or H&R to offer a suspension upgrade for the WS Fiesta.
