What has gone wrong at Repco? I have noticed in the last two years prices have gone crazy. I got quoted $39.95 recently for a oil filter that retails for $24.

supercheap specialise in castrol

so to say they are the leading retailers in castrol. plus their supercheap so i doubt you will find a cheaper price

repco for some reason ive found on a few things are horribly expensive

Have you still got the receipt? What was the RRP price on it? Sometimes they look after you but I find that it is pretty rare without an account.

If you can get an AFL73MC for less than a Z516 you are getting stung for the Z516

I must say though $14.70 is a pretty good price if that was retail...

I am a Repco employee. Take proof of price to any Repco store and they should match or beat it. Avoid trying that on Sundays tho because the manager is rarely around to approve it and it's just a fight trying to explain it.

well i used to buy the edge direct from castrol(can't do without an account) and you shouldn't be paying anymore than about 65 for a 5 litre bottle. it's an expensive oil where ever you go and the only way around it is to use a different brand such as nulon etc.

$65??!

Mate I don't think too many places will sell it for that over the counter. Maybe when its on special but not everyday. I rekon $70 would probably be a good everyday price...

Thanks 2.8L Hilux great tip about the 20% off sale.

My son went to the Yamba Repco today and bought 2 x 5L bottles of the Castrol Edge Sport 0 -40w for only $112, pretty good at $56 each.
The best price I have seen anywhere .

Good to see another "grunt" on here. I'll be stocking up on oil and a starting battery when I go in tomorrow...

Those of you who go through a bit of oil may wish to consider taking up the 20% off offer ending tomorrow... usually the discount is 0 for everybody, including staff and trade.

Actually would probably sell them for less than that...
