Not with the new Fiesta /end shameless advertisment. Large car doesn't necessarily mean safer.

Sure, you could all limit us to Smart Cars, we'll still kill ourselves some way or another. I bet it could probably make it to 150+ still, just might take a while.

Personally, I would support the vote for a max. of 4 cyl. for a P-plater. However, I am sure that it will hurt just as much hitting a stobie pole in a 4 cyl. car at a very capable 100km/h compared to a larger engined car at the same speed! Seems to defeat the purpose really.......

i know it's a LITTLE bit off topic but it still sort of refers to the topic because it refers to the speeds which 4 and 6 cylinders are able to achieve. if ur generally not allowed to go over 100/10 y have a speedo that shows 200km/h+????

lol i guess. just like me in the kangaroo/ airbag thread. apparently an airbag won't deploy unless you're travelling 60km/h

person going 60 - "yay, i'm alive!"
person going 59- "dam that 1 kilometre!"

The facts that Labor and the Greens run the place maybe your answer. Anyway, it doesn't stop derros (ACT word for bogan) driving in hektik CE Lancers and VS Commodores (they've moved on from the VNs) with fake spinners and "INJEKT'D" stickers, (http://www.injektd.com.au/home.html) this business is like Ozzy Tyres, NSW residents would know.

On the topic though, I remember the "Road Ready" course here in canberra, they try the scare tactics of showing you graphic accidents.....

You show a smoker an anti-smoking add... they go and have a smoke after watching it..... ? they do sweet F*#$ all to prevent anything, you're lucky if you effect 1 out of 10 kids.

I say make the legal driving age higher... I'm better off for not driving when i was 17. Edit: I'm still alive.

I was driving down the parkway on the way to work tonight, and sure enough, flying past me at atleast 130km, because i felt the gust of wind bash my car, a wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses, in a VS Holden, P plates.

Unfortunatly im a target for hoons as i drive a XR6, with P plates.

My RoadReady instructor says to change drinking age to 16 and driving to 18... gets binge drinking out of the system before you can get into a car.

No Amaroo School, pathetic K-10 school in Gungahlin, think Gold Creek, mixed with a Nazi Concentration Camp. When I hit 18, I will sue everyone in the school for giving me permanent psychological problems.

But anyway, he runs a driving school from Bungendore. "Capital Country Driving School"
