Default wsid tonight...

A call from my brother this afternoon and off to wsid we went. What a great night of various cars.. Saw a few interesting cars and interesting times pulled as well. Saw gen 3 commies unable to crack 13's and alot were stuck in the low 14's..

A gtp that could not pull better than 14.246 and another running a flat 12 second pass..
Also a na 6 ba pull 14.9 from memory. It was a real eye opener.Saw some really noisy cars pull times that were ridiculous. Oh also saw an eb 4.0 sleeper pull a 12.7 et!!

I dont know if anyone was out there but thats my wrap on the night..not all that impressed with the stock ba xr8's or gt's. Dissapointing actually. Would not bad if ford made them faster..

Hey Stav, that GT that ran a 12 wasnt a GT mate it was a T6 that had GT stickers on it and had 380rwkw and was a manual.

I was out there with GTP370 and his BF F6 ZF 6sp with tune only he managed a 12.9 @110 2.3 60'.

Actually became a ok night when the southerly change came through and cooled things down as it was 36c when we did the first pass.

Did you see the red VE ss, was a manual doing 11.5@120, was good to watch leaving the line.

I saw alot of cool cars there. I was looking for a bluepower stickered ute there but couldnt see it. From the stand it was a bit hard for me to see the cars ultra clear. I have had a ball busting past few days and it was awesome to watch.

It got pretty cold fast ..thats for sure. Havent run the wagon for a while as looking at it wont make it faster but maybe when I get the chance it deserves a few little mods ..After tonight I am pretty happy with its efforts.

11's are heaps fast but for me seeing a bunch of v8 factory muscle cars not being able to do better than 14's was a reality check.

Hope you blokes a great night..it got cold fast and we took the kids home to not get sick..

It was funny watching last night. There were some amazing sleepers that just blew my mind away while some seemingly fast looking cars just looked fast. There was one commy there that went flat stick all the way down the track .It sounded like it had no exhaust and ran 16's?? heheheh

Ah darn it I might race anyway. It will be engine number 4 to be replaced but at 500 dollars an engine its equivalent to 2 alternators.

Have they fixed the timing boards at wsid yet?
Very annoying as a spectator to not know what times cars are pulling

Thats good news Paul 75 degree air temp and 750 degree track temp was not really the best for producing pb's...heheh :

He'll be happy with that. Great result all things considered. Got to respect those turbo Falcons and how fast you can make them for bugger all.
