maybe they should start advertising it on the TV? just saying it on their website isn't going to get it out to prospective new Ford buyers

If they have my bad but i haven't seen any adds in papers, magazines i've recently bought or on tv at all..

They have an add on TV but it only says cash back for such and such. No mention of their COTY awards which I think is stupid. I would much rather buy a good car then a crap car and get $3000 cash back.

They also have the RACV Royal Auto "Best Large Car" award for the Falcon XT.

Luckily, with the FG you get a good car, with a couple of grand cash back.

I got put off the FG XR6s when I went to autocentro, Duhig Ford and sat in all the new XR6s they had, they all smelt like Seafood baskets you get from restaurants with the chips/salad with assorted seafood. I expected new car smell.

Yeah but the public don't know that. Which is why I think they have their advertising the wrong way round.

Love the G6E-T, it is by far the most complete and best ford ever.

Maybe that wasn't the car, but the prostitute that had sat in it a moment earlier.

From what I know:

Carsguide, COTY- G6E Turbo
MOTOR, Bang For Your Bucks - XR6 Turbo Ute
NZ Autocar COTY? - F6/ XR6T
Australia's Best cars - Best Family Car - XT Sedan
There could be more that I can't think of, and you would probably be able to add Wheels COTY to that list in a few weeks.

Awards are just based on someones opinion and I never really pay attention to them anyway. The FG is a great car and could sell itself on it's on merits if people took the time to do the research.

The weird thing though is that my Ford mad mates don't really like it while I reckon it's awesome. :|

I was more interested in the new Fiesta. Even more interested if they bring out a 'XR4' to replace the current one.
