Default suspension questions

just checking to see if the struts and springs for a series 1 xr8 will fit my series 2?

also the rear shocks and springs, will these fit my series 2 aswell.

Yes, but the series 2 front struts have an integrated bracket to hold the brake hose; the series one doesn't have this. Simple solution is to use a cable tie to hold the braker hose if you use series 1 shocks.

i somewhat dont like ur simple solution ... cable tie brakes, brake hose rubs on wheel, hohle in brake hose -> no brakes

btw not to mention the reaming u would get upon an inspection ...

ok cheers, was just checking. im sure that something like a hose clamp wouldnt break,

as for inspection unless it is for a defect, here in SA we dont have inspections.

S1 calipers are rear facing, hoses are shorter and designed not to foul

in QLD it is a defect and a RWC item
