Default Blue Oval Store - well done Ford

Amongst the usual spam email tonight was the FPV newsletter, I see they have launched a new online website to sell merchandise and accessories - www.blueovalstore.com.au.

Thumbs up to Ford for doing this, I like what I see and FINALLY there is the beginnings of a decent range of gear to choose from. I hate dealerships so having to go there to buy merchandise has always put me off, so to be able to do it online is a better way to do it.

Well done Ford!

I don't say well done as a matter of fact I say it is crap. There is pretty much stuff all FPV merchandise on there. I bought some FPV keyrings on the old site. I then went to order more and this crap came up.

My informed source tells me it was axed after they realised the 5.4l sink would be too small in contrast to Chryslers and HSVs sinks.

Maybe we should have the Ford site on a free standing computer so people could see what they want when they come to visit our dealership? Would save having to answer SOOOOO many questions.

Wouldn't it be good to have something on the site that would be a factory upgrade to your car. Sports seats, carbon fibre upgrades, suspension kits, a bit like BMW offer their buyers. Ford like to sell you the car but its all over once you take delivery.
