Default Thief steals car with toddler inside.

I heard this on the radio and the DF left the engine running whilst going in to buy a paper. And he's a Ford driver which even more disturbing.

I hope he gets charged with something, how often do you hear of this stuff happening, don't people learn by other peoples mistakes.
He'll be on the news tonight warning eveyone about leaving your car running with a child inside I betcha. :togo: :togo: :

A thief stole a car with an unusual extra feature this morning — a young boy sleeping in the back seat.

Noel Large, 4, and his father, Stewart, were en route to a relative's house located on Melbourne's fringes when the incident occurred.

When Mr Large stopped his Ford Falcon at a service station at Clyde Rd, Berwick to buy a newspaper at around 5.40am, the opportunistic thief jumped in the car and sped off, with Noel still asleep inside.

When the thief noticed Noel about 1km down the road, he pulled the car into a carpark and ran away.

A short time later police received a call about a young boy in an abandoned car.

Police and Mr Large soon reached the car and discovered Noel, who was confused about what had happened.

Mr Large told National Nine News that he was relieved to get his son back safely.

Having spent a lot of time in service stations over the last 15 years, it never ceases to amaze me how many dropkicks do this sort of thing every day. This clown needs to be taken around the back of the servo and bashed.

I don’t even leave my car running while I’m checking the tyre pressure.
