I had an arrow AX6 a few years ago, but not the ARC motor

As for tracks, try Silhouette Karts Hume Hwy Somerton, Ace Karts in Sunshine, there is one in Oakleigh too I think but I havent been there. I used to deal with Grant Lindstrom at Pro Karting, he is in Mercedes drive just near Herrod's.

I used KT100S's but I believe ARC's have more scope and are easier for tuning, and are also available in water cooled as well as air cooled.

Forgot to mention before, I was a member of the Todd Rd track, IMO the best track in the state if not Australia, right under the Westgate Bridge and the track has everything...a mini bathurst!

Best thing to do- spend a few weekends at a track and get to know the kart, not just driving but the setup too, there is a fair bit to learn about it. Join a club if you find you use it more and you can use the track whenever you want, providing the track isn't pre-booked.

Somerton is pretty chokka's on weekends, even some weeknights too, but it's good to learn and most guys will lend a hand and give advise. It's good idea to take a mate- while you can get it off the ute/trailer and onto the stand by yourself it's easier with a helper.

Hey mate, congratultions with the purchase, you wont believe how a thrash around any track will do for your stress levels. I look at mine as a hobby that i can go out and let my problems and worry dissapear and be who i wanna be, Here are some pics of my Monaco GP5 late 2006 model and its a Rotax 125. It has all the usual fruits like 50mm axle, 4 spot caliper and 20mm thick disc, full 32mm chassis. its only been used 4 times i wish i could take it out more. Send some pics of yours if you can.

Enjoy it mate its all worth the money.

Shaun
