hey guys .
for my auto i want to get a hi stall. my au is an every day driver. iwanted to know. if i got a 3000 rpm converter will it affect how my car drives normally. how does it work? every time i go to take off do i have to stall it up to 3000. |

The stocker is a 1800rpm, but if you take off gently you'll notice that the revs will stay below 1800.
So the hi stall will slip like a clutch untill 3000rpm, then bite. If you take off normally there won't be a lot of difference, if you floor it then it will jump to 3000 and go from there. There have been plenty of threads on this. Do a search and you'll find more info, and help on choosing a good stall speed. I think 3000 is a bit much for a stock motor, but I could be wrong.
