I recently had my 1990 KF laser serviced and had the timing belt plus all attachments replaced last week. Since then the car has been making a noise like its buzzing/vibrating. It does it slightly when the car is cold but does it worse when the car is warm and at low and high speeds and only when accelerating. The engine mounts are fine and there is a little bit of a lag when accelerating.
Could something in the timing belt kit not have been fitted properly? |

take the car back to where the work was done ..to hard to tell from your description
may be plastic cover screw loose ,to belt noise ,timing pully or even tappets lag on acceleration may be timing may be possible where it has been timed to number 4 cyl and not number one TDC

when the engine is running and making the buzzing and vibrating noise put your hand on the distributor and if you can feel a vibation replace the distributor
